Celebrate Community Leaders with Community Solutions
"We cannot seek achievement for ourselves
and forget about progress and prosperity for our community...
Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others,
for their sakes and for our own."
— Cesar Chavez, labor leaders and civil rights activist

One of Baltimore Corps' key values is that of place-based leadership. We know the city’s greatest potential change agents are already in its communities and most impacted by its challenges.

Through the Elevation Awards, Baltimore Corps works to identify these potential change agents, equipping them with information, training, experiences, administrative support, and initial financial backing as they work to transform an idea into reality.

We hope you will join with us in celebrating and showcasing the work of our initial awardees Wednesday, June 28, and spread the word to change agents you know working to make the city stronger, as we prepare to open applications for the next group of awardees that evening.

Sincerely,
Fagan Harris
