February is Black History Month! As we honor our history and celebrate our community achievements, I am reminded that our work is not done. I invite you to join us as we continue the unfinished business of advancing equity and racial justice within our communities and beyond.
I am excited to share with you the amazing work of Baltimore Corps' extended network. From alumni making moves to our Fellows and Visionary Cause Leaders, our incredible network is engaging in powerful work that is advancing equity, improving sector effectiveness, and putting Baltimore first. We are so proud of the ways in which they continue to work day-in and day-out to make Baltimore a city empowered to develop, retain, and connect its leaders to achieve an equitable future for all of its residents.
I encourage you to check out the many achievements and opportunities shared in this issue. Take a special look at our new Alumni Alerts section, where we highlight the accomplishments of our illustrious Baltimore Corps alumni. Also, check out our upcoming events and please share our newest job posting with your networks. Thank you for all of your support.
We look forward to continuing to collaborate with you to meet our collective goal of achieving equity in Baltimore.
Sincerely,
Fagan Harris
President & CEO
