Isabel Abaunza, Center for Salud/Health and Opportunity for Latinos

Isabel's Fellowship:

As the Baltimore Corps Fellow at the Center for Salud/Health and Opportunity for Latinos (Centro SOL), Isabel works to develop systems-level solutions to the problem of Medicaid enrollment for the children of parents without social security numbers.

Background:

Isabel is passionate about education and helping others. She believes we can always learn something new from other people that will make us better every day, and that's what excites her most about her role.

Why do you choose to live and work in Baltimore?  

Because I found the love of my life here.

What's one surprising fact about yourself?  

I love researching for things, so every time I have a question to answer I get a lot of information about the topic and keep digging for the best sources.
