Motherland Community

Motherland Community will be a nonprofit entity serving primarily families of color in Baltimore City in regards to prenatal, postpartum, and fertility challenges, and mental health care. Motherland will be the hub and one-stop shop for childbirth education, feeding options information, mental health screenings, referrals and treatment, holistic wellness services, and training space for professionals and providers who would like to learn more about perinatal mental health screening and treatment. From conception to postpartum, families will be linked with a perinatal coach who can assist with resources and referral linkage, including a doula, midwife, and/or obstetrician. Motherland envisions a Baltimore where all families – regardless of race and economic status – have the right to birth equity: mind and body.
