Madalena Henning, Bard High School Early College

Madalena's Fellowship:

Madalena supports the launch of a new civic engagement program at Bard High School Early College (BHSEC) Baltimore in which students develop and execute projects with a public interest program, modeled on the Trustee Leader Scholarship at Bard College. This is a new initiative for Bard and  an opportunity to design, implement, and innovate in a new space for Bard's students. Madalena assists students with their public interest/social justice projects and leads a leadership and civic engagement course for students in the program to support their work and develop their skills.
