Erin is inspired and driven by the passion and commitment of the people who live not by the way the world is but by their values to improve the world. Erin believes that while social change work is rarely glamorous, it is rising to the daily challenge of accomplishing meaningful progress that really matters.
Erin works as a Baltimore Corps Fellow at Thread, a non-profit organization that fosters the academic advancement and personal growth of underperforming high school students through a family of committed volunteers and increased access to community resources. At Thread, Erin collaborates with the executive team, programming staff and board of directors to build strategic partnerships and execute external communications campaigns.
Previously, Erin was the School Organizer & Healthy Foods Coordinator of the Reservoir Hill Improvement Council (RHIC). At RHIC, Erin played an instrumental role in organizing Baltimore communities to win $1 billion for school facility funding. Erin is also a founding member of Baltimore Soup, an organization that connects Baltimore social change visionaries with community awarded micro-grants and potential partners and supporters. Erin is a graduate from Loyola University of Maryland.
