Chief Program Officer
Tamara Arnold is a proven programs executive, leading organizational programmatic and partnership strategy. With over seven years at Baltimore Corps, she has been instrumental in expanding programs and strengthening leadership development.
Tamara joined Baltimore Corps in 2017 as a Fellowship Program Manager, restructuring the Fellowship to center equity and implement a structured curriculum, improving program quality and retention. As Director of Programs (2019-2022), she oversaw significant departmental growth and helped launch key initiatives like Artist Navigator, Entrepreneurship in Residence, and Moonshot. She later served as Senior Director of Programs and Administration before becoming Chief of Staff in 2022, refining organizational processes and strategy.
A former educator, Tamara leads with authenticity and inclusivity, seeing her work as an extension of service. She describes her leadership as breaking barriers in a historically white-dominated sector, opening doors for others, and creating space for diverse voices.
Throughout her career, Tamara has worked with organizations like Teach for America, Urban Teachers, and Playworks, making a lasting impact in Maryland. With deep expertise in leadership and strategy, she continues to expand Baltimore Corps’ vision, driving equity and opportunity for the future.
