Chris Moayedi

Chief Finance Officer

Chris Moayedi is a mission-driven, strategic CFO with a profound commitment to nonprofit missions. His extensive experience includes building and leading accounting, finance, and operations functions for both profit and nonprofit organizations. With over 25 years of specialized experience in institutional planning and strategy development, he drives organizational efficiencies and enhances mission effectiveness.

Chris has held director-level positions in several Fortune 100 and 500 companies in the energy and investment sectors, demonstrating his strong leadership in finance. He has also served as a CFO for private equity and higher education organizations, successfully leading companies through mergers and acquisitions, executing return-to-profit strategies, and achieving record-setting top- and bottom-line growth.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with concentrations in Finance and International Finance from the University of Houston, as well as FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses (non-active). He is excited to be a part of the Baltimore Corps leadership team and is thrilled to contribute to the organization’s mission and overall growth. Chris and his wife Kim are proud parents of four children. Their two daughters are professional ballerinas, and two sons are active in ballet, skateboarding, and rock climbing.
