Why Apply?

Our program, Community Health Pathways, supported by AmeriCorps, offers participants hands-on experience and training to build meaningful careers in public health and social impact. Graduates gain valuable certifications and access to a vast professional network, setting them up for long-term success.

 

Program Components

  • 1,700 service hours as an apprentice with one of our non-profit partners.
  • 140 hours of training for a Community Health Worker certification or 571 hours of training for a Peer Recovery Specialist certification.
  • A minimum of 20 professional development workshops to enhance your skills.
  • Time well spent with a like-minded and ambitious cohort of community-minded individuals.

Post-Program Benefits

  • Certifications to support a career in public health, including Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, or Community Health Worker certifications.
  • Education Award of $7,395 to support future educational expenses.
